How it Works

An Interactive Auction is an open bidding system that can act as the main focal point of an event, it thrives in a large and competitive audience and allows people to bid before the event even starts. Guests can bid on their desktops, smartphones and tablets and will receive a text message any time they are outbid.

What events are suitable?

We have carried out interactive auctions at a wide array of events including school, hospice & small community fundraisers, golf days, end of season awards at sports clubs to larger scale Gala Dinners & Balls. One of our event managers will be happy to talk through your event with you to see if it is suitable for this type of auction.

Pre Event

Once you have contacted us one of our experienced Fundraising Consultants will be happy to talk through the details of your event and help you decide which type of auction will work best for you. For an Interactive Auction our team will then work with you to design a personalised online auction using your brand colours and logos. Once we have worked in tandem to select the best Auction Lots for your audience the site can be launched up to a month prior to the event itself. We will then help promote the auction to your supporters via social media.

At the Event

Our team will arrive early to set up any agreed WIFI and AV requirements you may have. When your guests arrive we will register them throughout the drinks reception and at their tables. Once the event is under way our staff will become ‘Personal Shoppers’ and will begin discreetly walking around the room, answering questions, solving technical issues and where required placing bids for your guests. At a pre agreed time we will close the auction and your guests will be invited to pay for their items through a link sent directly to their phone or by coming to our payment desk.

Post Event

After the event you will be sent an excel spreadsheet with an itemised list of all the winning bidders and how much each item has raised you, you will also be given access to any reports created through the software. We will follow up any outstanding payments the following week and transfer all of the monies raised within 5 working days of the event. All vouchers and any memorabilia/artwork not taken away on the night will be delivered to your guests within 10 working days. Our admin department will continue to support your guests after the event in case of any problems.


Pre-Event Registration & Bidding



Through the use of our software it is possible to open your auction before your live event. By the time your event night arrives your guests will be registered & knowledgable of the items up for auction and bidding will be well underway! You can start tweeting a link to all your supporters well before your event, just like Stephen Fry did last year!

Easy & Secure Registration

Supporters can register themselves (by text or web browser) or can be registered by a volounteer at your event. Registered bidders will recieve a link to your auction on their phone. validating their phone number and making it easy to bid wherever they are.

Accessible on any Device



Our software is available on a range of devices, which means your supporters that are unable to attend your event on the night can still show their support & participate in the auction, greatly increasing your number of potential bidders & fundraising potential.

Our software enables us to turn the auction lots into an online virtual catalogue which allows potential bidders to browse & search items, view categories, image galleries, item information & create a favourites list to watch the items they’re interested in.

This is a key feature which will encourage more bids, as competition is key, once a person has been outbid they will be informed with a text message direct to their phone alerting them & prompting them to bid again.

Social Media Integration



All your supporters can spread the word of your auction with tweets & posts about the auction items & donations they are making/bidding on with the catalogues inbuilt social media integration.

Leaderboards & Digital Displays



Create a customised leaderboard showcasing each item with an image, the highest bidder & current highest bid amount. Countdown timers & visualisers can also be added to show the amount raised so far, these can be used to help stimulating bidding/donations in order to reach your target.
