Fundraising Auctions take part in Brighton Run2Music

Fundraising Auctions took part in the Brighton Run2Music event in aid of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity on the 11^th May 2019, raising funds towards Chalkhill Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit, Sussex’s only mental health inpatient unit for young people.

Participating in the race, Fundraising Auctions had 3 team members partaking in the 10k alongside 5 running in the 5k races; with the company directors 14-year-old son taking first place in the 5k! From this event, we were able to raise X amount for Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, surpassing the target by 38%.

The funds raised to Rockinghorse are being used to support Chalkhill – a specialist mental health hospital for children and young people in Haywards Heath. The service offers mental health treatment and support for young people who are experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties, such as depression, eating disorders and psychosis.
